What's up with that? I know I just saw a thread about it somewhere, but can't find it. Anyway, I sign into Gamespy throught FSX but get that message after a few seconds? Any way to fix that? The Gamespy account is old, but should still work.

I think it's a common bug with all FSX installations.

I get around it by putting my mouse near the host a session or connect directly buttons and clicking and holding the mouse. once everything is loaded i drag the mouse off and let go. it works most of the time.
