Usually I run it on stock speeds, my motherboard has OCing profiles, but it goes to about 70c on load, thats why I don't usually run it overclocked, when I do I am very carefull and I won't push it any further. Im looking at a cooler to buy for it, not too big though,

CPU's should have multiple fans over them to allow for OCing

TRUE! I wish I bought one, $20 more than mine (including fan) minus $20 for the fan I bought because it's a lot quieter.

Wow, go for that new heatsink because I get lower temperatures than you and my Q6600 is at 3.4GHz.

It's easier to install a cooler before you stick the motherboard into the case.

If the heatsink mounting type doesn't require access to the back of the motherboard, it honestly doesn't matter one way or the other...

@Duke: Why? Are you out most of the time? Personally I dislike using laptops...

Depends on the case too.
If he does not have anything in the way above the CPU, then installation in his case wouldn't be too hard.

Laptops? Meh, I don't like the keyboard. Screen is a bit small to, I only use it when my desktop is not accessible.

I have lived at home for about 4.5 of the past 19 months. And I only just got that desktop about 10 days before I last left!

Actually, for the sake of reducing the risk of warping the motherboard (particularly with LGA775), it makes a lot of sense to install the hsf out of the case first.

Yeah, they "My Rig" section is cool but I agree it's easier just to scroll through a thread for a quick look of what set ups look like...

So how does that triple header thing work?  Your normal GFX into that, and that does some jiggery pokery to put it on the 3 screens?

Charlatan - You go it.  The DVI out from the GFX card to the Matrox 3H2Go.  The three monitors plug into that.
The Matrox software handles the driver resolutions and the Bezel management if needed.  Slick deal.
