[Hardcore]

Started this thread in the hopes of getting some spectacular UNEDITED screenshots of FSX + addons.  The goal is to get the most realistic shots you can without the use of photoshop/post processing.

There is no right or wrong pics to post here.  If you think it is close to reality, then post it.  Please post the location of the pic with any addons used

I'm constantly amazed at what FSX can do.

I will start it off with 3 I just took on my last flight.

Scenery - Tatra Photo Scenery

Great idea for a thread - hardcore's shots look very natural, the lighting and way the aircraft blends looks absolutely right. Private-Cowboy's are stunning shots, but look a little less real – the water and sun give it away.

Both of these are over Horizon simulations GenerationX VFR UK scenery, with some custom autogen...Default Cessna and AeroSoft BeaverX.

This ones not bad for such low altitude - at a glance


I think this looks pretty realistic - lots of zoom helps to sharpen everything up.

Wow Leadballoon!

That first shot at low level is amazing.  Second one is great as well (textures are amazing), but I don't think I've ever seen a better low level shot that looks so realistic!  What kind of trees do you have?

Great shots!  I'm kind of a scenery nut, and that horizon stuff is next on my list!

The tree textures are TreeX 2.1 by Aimé Leclercq which can be found on Avsim - the spring set look esp. good.

The tree placement is by Charles Dodman for Uk VFR scenery, and though originally designed for FS9 work fine in FSX - they can be had from http://www.shepsshed...utogentrees.htm

The last one of Hypofx's is amazing where/what is the scenery?.

Two quick ones from today's flight to the German North Sea islands.

This is Aerosoft's German Airfields 1 - "Island hopping".
In the first screenshot you see the beach of Wangerooge, one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen - been there on holiday last year

I sharpened the first one a little bit to compensate for jpg compression quality loss.
The second shot is not sharpened. It looks a bit more blurred like this, still I don't know what looks better.
