2nd in a series! Next up: South Florida

FS Version: Any
Location: The Space Coast, Florida, USA

Departure: Ormond Beach Municipal (KOMN)
Arrival: Patrick AFB (KCOF)

Route: Custom Waypoints 1-8. Start at Ormond Beach Municipal and follow the intercoastal waterway south (if you need more direction, consult your gps). Along the way you'll be passing many scenic airports, among them the infamous  KDAB
Link to Flight Plan: VFR Ormond Beach Mun to Patrick AFB.PLN

Duration of Flight: Aprox. 40 minutes
Meteorological Conditions: Fair Weather theme

Description: Take a scenic flight along Florida's famous Space Coast. Home to NASA, the Space Coast is the only place within the United States which hosts federal astronautical operations. You'll be flying to Patrick AFB, just south of NASA. Although I flew a CAP Orion to justify a landing at a USAF base, you can fly any plane of your fancy.

Not to worry cfschris!  I check out your flight.  Perhaps I will jet on down there to test out some settings.  I will be back later to post a couple of my own screenshots to your thread.

Keep them coming.

Scenario:

You are an astronaut! Fly to NASA from Ormond using the flight plan in your own personal plane, or in a passenger plane! Whatever! Make your own NASA flight and upload it, or something.

You want us to make a topic of a flight from the scenario you gave us?

Not really. I was just suggesting it to Pie, as he said he'd rather do a space shuttle simulation. I suggest a preflight type of flight to him, fly down to NASA, switch the shuttle, and blast off.

But sure, make a flight!

Nice shots.
The water is too shiny, the river looked like aluminum foil IMO

Staff picks in 'The Places We Fly' are probably one of the best places to have them.

This forum doesn't get enough attention IMO. Perhaps more staff picks would attract more traffic?

Guys, apparently after 7 days of no downloads, the file is deleted from filefactory, the website I used to host the file. I'll be able to upload it again sometime this week.....To Brad- This is why we need to have a flight plan upload system here!

cfschris -

Brad is looking in to potentially getting some space allocated on FSW to host these flight plans.
I am sure he will keep me posted as progress is made.  I think he has been working hard all across the board implementing new things to make flightsimhq another notch higher in the world of forums (in my opinion anyway)
