you know i thought you meant an FS98 aircraft in FSX, and FS2002 aircraft, try replacing the the section that details each variant with an FSX ready one and modify it to fit the Sonic Cruiser?

The visuals may appear.
Animations may not work..
2D PAnels may need rework since some gauges of that vintage don't work in FS-X....
Texture problems (transparencies, etc) may be problematic.
IT is possible, but I wonder if the effort required to get some sort of presence in FS-X is practical.
I don't thkn one can give a generic answer ... if it's a warmed over FS2000 model tweaked to FS2002, placing it in FS-X may not be possible/practical.

I would rather that someone creates a fresh FSX freeware addon rather than convert an old FS8 freeware addon to FSX.
Reason:
1. FS8 addons lack details and features.
2. FS8 gauges and animations are based on outdated concepts [compatibility issue].
3. FS8 mdl files are compiled using even more outdated concepts [compatibility issue].
4. FS8 addons look plain and ugly by today's standards.

okay then so look. I need a Boeing sonic cruiser for FSX it does not have to have a lot of work on the landing gear.(like in those freeware ones the landing gear just appears without any animation. but just look like it and have same speed as the original and so on
also i know about this thread but the one there stopped working on it and i have been waiting ever since
i have also tried to make one myself but i cant
