The fsx autogen puts the buildings right in line with approach---this cannot be accurate in real world--Best shot however!

Thanks franthree.
franthree:
Buildings and other objects are just a part of airports. I'm probably 5 NM out in that picture, looks closer because I was zoomed in so much. Towns build all around airports, but they cannot build a building so tall that it is in the Glide Slope of the approach. They are zoned that way. It is just like the old airport here in Denver (Stapelton). People built homes right up to the fences of Stapelton, then they complained about the noise even though they knew an airport was right there.

This is one of your best flights posted to date! The haze is nice.
"Autogen - making better pilots since FSX"
Yeah, I am taking a chainsaw everywhere I go. There always tends to be a grove of trees about 50' from the end of the runway. Makes you really work your short field takeoffs and landings. I always hear passengers screaming in the background.
Bman.

Thanks RossBurke and Bman.
Bman:
As I've explained. buildings and other objects are a part of airport life, it really looks bad when I'm zoomed in so close, (for effect of course), Buildings cannot be built so high that it intiferes with the Glide Slope. The plane would still pick up the Glide Slope signal, but if you were landing in a heavy fog, you might just run into a building. There are zoning regulations considerations for airports.
