The airport is Zapopan MMZP I myself go to Guadalajara every year, that is where I am from. I have never seen that hole there before. I was surprised to see it in FSX. I've dived to the bottom and yes you can land there.

Someone needs to send an email for this to be fixed as an update!

You cannot possibly think there might be this hole in the real world  in Guadalajara??    :hrmm:

It took you that much runway to land an F/A-18?! :hrmm: Boy, do you need to go back to flight school. :hrmm: I'm gonna try it!

Ha, no...I rolled her to the very tippy tip just for effect.   :hrmm:

There was a famous freeware developer back in the days of FS2004 who basically made patches to fix all of these goof-ups. I cant recall if hes been making the same for FSX but you should try avsim for any updates on these glitches.

Nice video indeed. You're very fast at making them also. The touchdown was off of the centerline but still nice.

Under what name have you uploaded it to Youtube?

Potential silly question alert:

How do you make your own videos of your FSX flights? I wouldn't mind learning...

use the instant replay feature in the drop down menu (press alt in game), and then record it with an outside recording program. Or, download fsrecorder. Google that.

Your FPS on the video may change, if your PC can't handle recording.

I don't have land around my runway, it's just a floating runway   Anyways, I landed a 747 there for fun, and still had room left  :hrmm: Then I tried to sneak a look under by moving my 747 to the right...I sorta fell down

More about "the Pit"    The ground around the airstrip is about at 6 ft ASL. (about a mile down from the airstrip above). But... there are additional drop-offs that go BELOW sea level....(up to 160 ft below sea level). Whats interesting (sort of), is if you fly below sea level, the altitude indicator does'nt miss a beat. It drops to zero of course, then begins going back the other way reflecting a positive number for "depth".

The pic shows 63 ft below sea level. Pretty useless information actually
