One of the main additions to what could be VOZ's final FS9 version is an updated Brisbane international Airport scenery, using custom made Models.

Here are some pics of the work completed so far:

Will it be released as part of the whole giant package ? I hope not.
I don't use VOZ packs as they alter quite negatively the whole world terrain etc..
Would be cool if they plan to release it as a standalone airport, though.

I once installed one of the VOZ packs and my whole world went reddish everywhere like the Outback  :hrmm:

It is planned that this will also be a standalone like the VOZ Sydney release.

With VOZ though, the issue you were having (and this goes for everyone who thinks that VOZ destroys your textures worldwide) is by adding those texture sets from the switcher not from the scenery itself.

You can enjoy all the airports VOZ provides without adding there texture sets by just activating the scenery folders as per the manual (by activating the folders in the scenery library) and just don't use the VOZ switcher to activate the textures and all will work fine without upsetting the rest of the worlds texture sets.

If you do use the switcher to give australia that Aussie feeling when in flightsim, make sure you use the switcher to UNVOZ once you exit flightsim as this won't effect your textures when flying in other parts of the world :hrmm:

For 1.8 we are making this a whole package, as we have tweaked a lot of the files to make it easier to recognize there duties, plus made a complete afcad folder with only VOZ AF2 files within them, to make it easier for the flightsimmer to tweak there scenery.

Cheers

Thanks for the response, much appreciated.
Maybe I will soon be thinking of giving VOZ another chance on my fs9,
as I also got trouble having the ORBX Tamworth working
probably because of the lack of some VOZ files needed to get it to work fine (just a guess).

By the way I narrowly forgot to state that the Brisbane screenshots look all awesome like a payware quality and much more mouthwatering than many paywares around actually.

If you used the VOZ switcher to VOZ while in Australia, then unvoz before going back to places like Europe and the americas and all will return to normal :hrmm:

To those interested and wanting YBBN as a standalone airport away from VOZ it is now uploaded on the Avsim server.

Search for "VOZ - Brisbane International Airport" and you will find it.

Now this will not work with FSX at all :hrmm:
