For the last couple months activity has been very low for our team.  I've been folding 24/7 for the past months, but haven't seen too many others folding at all.  Our team has made it into the top 1000 now and continues to climb to the top ever so slowly.

What's going on guys?

I noticed it on Kakaostats when it showed I was overtaking you soon and Lear as well!  Do you still have all 8 or so machines running F@H?

Sorry Toby, my computers are a bit old and the Q6600 won't stay up 24/7 because of parental commands. :hrmm:

Just you wait. I have slowed down on my folding because I have been idling on my clan's (the clan I started with a friend :hrmm:) Battlefield 2 server and I can't run GPU2 and BF2 at the same time. I will get a Blue Screen. But our server is getting more popular. We have gotten into the top 500 servers and I don't have to idle nearly as much. I'm actually surpirsed I'm still in first. But once I get all the parts for my new rig, I will be running SMP on it along with GPU2 (I think I can anyways) with my old HD2400. It might not be the best, but it would be faster than SMP or the normal CPU client.

Cool lear, good to hear you guys didn't fully forget about F@H!  Reason why you're probably still in first is because the new work units for GPU2 are worth less points and take longer to complete, thus killing everyone's points per day.  I haven't been running SMP for a while because it keeps messing up on my 64-bit operating system.  I'm probably going back to my 32-bit Vista or XP Home because it ran perfectly fine with those operating systems.

What a difference a post can make!  B737 is back up and running, and so are others here and there.  My SMP is finally running without problems, hopefully it'll stay this way from now on.  SMP + GPU2 24/7 can't beat it!! :hrmm: :hrmm:

Can't believe you haven't started yet with that card jetOne!  That card would easily punch out around 8,000 Points per day!

It will be a while before you catch up to my nearly 900 WUs and I believe around 350,000 points.

I just can't wait until I get my new graphics card and finish up my 2nd computer which will only be used for folding.

AMD Athlon X2 5000+
2GB RAM
9600GSO

Intel E8400 @ 4.2GHz
GTX260 Core 216 (Not sure yet)

Oh yeah.... :hrmm: :hrmm:

I've heard people getting 10K plus.

The folding rig I'm using will be only for GPU folding as I'm using a P4 CPU in it :hrmm:

Although I may upgrade my current E8400 to a Quad and use the 8400 as a folder.  :hrmm:

Wow, really?

Won't your energy bill go up having so many systems on, especially one that will not be used for personal computing?

Most likely.  We'll have to see once I get it started.
jetOne - The 9800GX2 used to get over 10,000 PPD but ever since the Work Units became larger and tougher for Nvidia cards to fold, the points also took a dive.  My overclocked 9600GSO used to get 5,000 PPD and now it only produces around 3,500 PPD.
