Got the first part of my redundancy money a few weeks ago, and just ordered the case. It's a black Silverstone TJ07 from http://www.watercoolinguk.co.uk and I'm getting them to powdercoat all the silver parts a deep red colour, which I imagine will take two weeks or so before they can get it back to me.

The intended setup (once I get the rest of the money at the end of January) is going to be something like:

Core i7 920
nVidia GTX285
6GB 1600MHz DDR3
Gibabyte EX58-UD5 motherboard
1TB Samsung Spinpoint
3x 22" monitors (using SoftTH)

I'm going to be watercooling the CPU and graphics card, and may add a second loop for the NB, RAM and Mosfets later (this will be my first watercooled build so I don't want to go too mad).

Looking at a DCC-1T Ultra with the XSPC top, an XSPC RX360 radiator, an EK-Supreme CPU block and an XSPC full cover block for the GTX285 once they release it.

Looking at what others have acheived, I should be able to get the CPU past 4GHz on water.

Case has landed at the supplier.  :hrmm: Hopefully in a day or two they'll send some pics of it in the new colours which I can post here.

I've also asked them to cut me some holes in the motherboard tray to put cables through. This is vary handy for keeping everything tidy.

OK, I get paid at midnight tonight, so I'm ordering the stuff in the morning. :hrmm:  I've decided on a 9600GT as the second card as that's enough to deal with SoftTH and PhysX and won't break the bank. Of course it doesn't need to be watercooled, but I'm getting a block for it too :hrmm:  Not included is a waterblock for the 285 as they're not available yet.

Decided to swap the watercooled 9600 for a passive 9500. The extra expense of the waterblock was just a bit silly for what it would be doing.

Nice.

I am looking at a nice i7-965/GTX285/DDR3-1600 setup with a Velociraptor also.

Recently moved up to a Samsung 22" WS - Glorious!

From what I've seen and read, don't bother getting the 965. The 920s are a quarter of the price and from what people have been posting online clock up pretty much to the same level, even without the unlocked multiplier. Unless you're on a TEC or some kind of fantastic phase-change setup you'll probably not notice the difference. Spend the money changing the 285 for a 295 or 4870X2, and an even bigger monitor (30"! :hrmm: )

Congrats! Can't wait to see how this thing overclocks and benchmarks. A 4GHz i7 sounds sexier than Pamela Anderson in an extra-small bikini (well, almost :hrmm:).
