I hope the secret plane is a Dash 8, 777, or best of all a 787.

If you read the 777 won't be out until~2012, and PMDG are a bit smarter to work on a plane that is in service than to make the 787 which still hasn't entered commercial service or flown for that matter.

They haven't even said if they will make a 777 at all, but if they did it would be beyond 2012.  They said they already have products lined up until 2012, so it would have to be after that.

They also said the new plane is a glass cockpit, and is an advanced.  It's not the Airbus, or obviously the NGX, so I would bet a regional jet.

They could've just said the stuff about the 777 to throw people off.

They have been working on it for 3 months or so , I don't think PMDG couldn't give a rats :hrmm: if anyone has guessed what the product is , its not a game.

My hopes:

1. Gulfstream 5, or even a 4.

2. Global Express..

3. CL60

I would honestly say if any decent payware company managed to get the rights to distribute a GV, at the high standards they are capable of, it would sell immensely, I would freak out. :hrmm:!

Im pretty sure they will produce something that will go into mass production, something that everyone will want to get their hands on, like their 737 or 747 series. I don't think they will make an aircraft that gives the flight sim public second thoughts on purchasing.

The 787 or A380 would be a very smart choice, in my opinion (but that is only my opinion).

IMO, the 787 would be a stupid/hard plane to do because it hasn't even really flown yet. IMHO, PMDG wouldn't do an aircraft that isn't even completed

I really doubt that, since we already got two very good representations of those planes in Flightsim: The Maddog 2008 and the Flight1 Super 80.

But a possibility certainly is the Boeing 717, however, that willb e complete speculation until they reveal the sevret in a few weeks :hrmm:

Personally i think it's some kind of turboprop or the 717.But i hoped for the Fokker 50, but it's a steam gauged plane so i guess it's out of the question.

I could see it being the Boeing 717 - same avionics as the MD-11.

Here is also a quote from Bill, on the PMDG team:

Quote

Well, that is a very good question since the gauges for the MD-11 and 717 are the same, allowing for the different number of engines. And the 717 is a WONDERFUL airplane. We'll have to get back to you on that.

Bill

P.S. I would have addressed this, but didn't get your name.
