But before the links, we need the logistics of the event. The event would be kicked off early Saturday April Fourth 2009 at 1500 Zulu time. The starting airport will be Los Angeles International Airport (KLAX) and the ending airport will be Kai-Tak international airport. The routing will be determined soon and posted in this topic. The approximate length of this flight will be 14 hours.

9Dragons Kai-Tak Scenery. This is wonderful freeware scenery for all of Hong Kong Island. It portrays Kai-Tak airport in the late 1990s with Chep Lap Kok Airport in construction. The Scenery is quite detailed and can be heavy on the frames for those of you without a high end computer. (I can manage about 18 FPS with the Posky 777 and no weather).
Sid/Stars can be found on AVSIM for those who use them

Fly-Tampa's Kai-Tak Fly Tampa's rendition of Kai-Tak is a payware product, but can be judged by looking at the screenshots on the website. I do not own it so I cannot say much about it. http://www.flytampa.org/
Jets for the Event
Project Opensky Project Opensky is home to some of the best freeware aircraft available for the Flight Simulation Community. Their 777 (Which I will be flying for this event) has a wonderful Virtual Cockpit, of which is only rivaled by the Captain Sim 757. http://www.projectop...loads-index.php
Payware There are many payware companies that have jets with the range, such as PMDG and Just Flight and Level D Simulations.
