[Boeing737NextGen]

I don't know which 737-800 to buy? The PMDG 737, or the Ariane 737. I've heard although the Ariane 737 costs more, it is worth more, but is that true? Let me know what you think.

Ariane is only good if you fly from the VC. Also IIRC, you have to pay for liveries and there's no paint kit.

The Ariane VC is blurry, I would go with the PMDG.

Two problems I see with Ariane

1. Slow refresh rates in VC
2. Lack of Navdata

Plus the fact it costs £80 - no addon should ever cost that much!

Dispite all of the bad press ariane gets i like the 737 and feel it's better than the ageing PMDG offering. One major gripe i have though is that while virtually all systems are modeled on the ariane, the FIX and HOLD pages are inop in the FMC. This ruins the plane for me a bit.

Roll on the PMDG NG2! wouldnt expect this any time soon though.

Ariane did a really crappy job with VC tbh. However it's only good for FSX since that's the only thing FSX users have now. Other than Wilco.

It depends on the sim you're running, you're budget and what features you want in the aircraft. If you're running FSX, the Ariane 737 is the best payware NG available. For FS9, Ariane does model more systems than PMDG does. But on the opposite side of the coin, PMDG does have the NG2 under development which might surpass Ariane at a cheaper cost.

I have Ariane for fsx and I have to say that I love it but yes they are pricey, regarding PMDG they are very slow, someone correct me if I am wrong but when pmdg started advertising for the secret plane that has been over 3 months now they said that screenshots for the NGX will be available within 60 days so far nothing and the secret plane still not out yet. I am prety sure the NGX is gonna match Ariane after all PMDG we can say what we like but they produced some out of this world aircraft and price wise yes I ma pretty sure they beat Ariane, Ariane are selling their aircraft seperately with quite a high price were as PMDG they are gonna sell 600/700 as together and the same for the 800/900.
