Hi, I am thinking of making my own scenery and am wondering if anyone can give me some friendly advice on what programs i need to get started.
i have some basic knowledge of computers and programming , i have done some visual basic programming.
What are the basic steps for making my own scenery?

need to no what FS version u want to develop for, just go on google and search for fs___ SDK, you can download a software development kit with tutorials and samples, they are easy to pick from.

you will need textures, use gmax to create polygons and so on....
Search the fs developers section in google, it gives you lots of info.
