Months later and where is the library? We have the forums but still no files and the site says the library is down indefinitely.

They're working on it. They're creating a new library system I believe. Don't forget they have to deal with hundreds of thousands of files, don't rush them.

Well duh, you don't think we'd actually pay for freeware right? I think I make up for it by being a virtual airline member I make my Flight Sim World $$$ It's the new currency... Only freeware transferable though.... Payware takes real USD.....

Sure why not, there are already a few websites that make you pay for membership so you can download freeware (not to mention files they stole from avsim)

Avsim can't run their servers without help from the flight simulator community via donations. I usually try to donate to them occasionally as I have been over the years.

I know I was adding to Duke's sarcasm I really appreciate what avsim does. They can take all the time in the world, but  I'm waiting solely for them to be back up so I can download addons for my newly installed FSX and I'm keeping my FS9 cause it is a goldmine of freeware.

They did say though that they would have it up within 1-2 weeks after the site. But with all due respect, let them take as long as they need if it means saving some files.

IIRC the number was 90% the percentage of files they would be able to recover.

its sucks because there are exclusive files on there that aren't anywhere else.

btw: does anyone think they can send me the AES files to the captain sim 757, wilco  E170/190, and the wilco airbus vol.1?
