Anyone up for a LAX -> HNL flight on Saturday or Sunday?

I'll post a FP if enough people (at least 3 other than me) are interested.

Might be... got to work around my HOCKEY so if we can do it Sat. that would be best. What is the estimated time and distance? THX.

I'll try to get Buziel involved but... he has lots of "plans" lately.

KLAX -> PRCH9 -> DINTY -> R576 -> DENNS -> MAGGI3 -> PHNL

That would be the route used to HNL.

Now you're tempting me to change aircraft.  :hrmm:

I need to put some more hours on the MD11 anyway.  :hrmm:

I'm using the PMDG MD11, which is payware (80 US dollars I think) but IIRC, there might be some freeware models out there.

*EDIT*

If you want to get it, you can go here.

It's well worth it IMO. I don't know if you have anything by PMDG but IMO, the MD11 is the best plane they have done thus far. You get 4 aircraft in total, 2 freighters and 2 passenger liners (different engine variants). The systems are just about fully functional (limited by the simulator of course) and fully automated (once the MCDU is programmed the flight crew workload is minimal).

It all depends on what type of simmer you are. Some don't like to learn and fly airliners that model most systems and some do.

If you can't see a plane and it shows a cessna go to the FS host client and choose a close plane :hrmm:
