I already did a topic search, but I couldn't find anyone asking this question.

I'm trying to learn more about Gmax and how virtual cockpits work. I have a model already good for editing attempts and practice, but it's in .MDL format. After searching for other websites to have this question, none of them seemed to help.

Is there is a way to import .MDL files in Gmax?

Have you read the manual in the FS SDK?

I'm using an aircraft created for FS9 but compatable with FSX.

I wouldn't think to look in the FSX SDK.

If i am not mistaken... .mdl's cannot be imported they are like the final release of a 3D IDE's project. You would need the original source files xP
