Okay,
So I've been seriously learning a program called Modo on my mac. I love it more than any other 3d program I've ever used. It is different than any other program too. There is a great community behind it, and it is super easy to work with once you know how.
I decided I'd model a plane to see my skills.
I decided on a Lancair Legacy. It is a high performance home-build two seater. These things are awesome in real life. I couldn't find any blueprints around so I'm modeling it entirely based off of reference photos.
At the moment, I am not planning on exporting it for Flight Sim, but instead use it to make awesome renders.... I have a feeling my mind could very easily be changed about that though. There are no good Lancair Legacy models for Flight sim as it stands..
I will be using this thread more of a Work In Progress thread to display my work.
Here is the real thing:
Here is where I am at:
Just the cowling so far... and not even finished with that.
More to come!

Ahh, that looks Brilliant. I've been looking for a good legacy, but never found one. Will it have a VC?
