heya simmers and developers

i was playing around with a FS2004 scenery airport (LOWL) and i got it to run using FSX. But there is one thing buggy in it.



As you can see in the screenshot it seems that there are two ground textures are overlaying each other. This is the only thing that prevents me from using it in my FSX

Is someone here who can provide some tipps to get this fixed?
Just for your information - i'm not into bgl files and this stuff - just want to get my home airport to work

So is there a possibility (or does it even make sense?) to locate and remove the default Aiirport ground scenery / texture?

Any help and tips are appreciated.
