On Sunday 24th January from 17:00Z 'til 22:00Z, London's Stansted Airport (EGSS) will be fully staffed from Delivery (DEL) to Control (CTR) for the Stansted Overload 2010. This is going to be VATSIM-UK's biggest event yet. We are expecting as much traffic as possible!

Stansted Airport is the UK's third busiest airport and is the largest hub for Europe's biggest low-cost airline - Ryanair. It is also a major hub for EasyJet and many other charter airlines. The airport also prides itself in handling the most VFR aircraft out of all the London Airports.

Typical flights from EGSS can last from around an hour for a short Ryanair hop to Dublin, Ireland, a few hours for a trip across Europe, or up to 9 hours for an an Asiana Cargo delivery to Seoul, Korea.

All the required charts for the event can be found by clicking here.

The Pilot Briefing Document can be found by clicking here. (PDF File, 633 Kb)
