I'm confused with some camera definition data fields.

I have read the camera configuration documentation at the Microsoft developers site. Understand how to modify existing global, aircraft, and flight camera definitions. However I'm confused by the Initial XYZ entry. For example, there is an aircraft view in my Carenado T-34 that looks like the camera is sitting on the tail looking forward and down (10 degrees). The Initial XYZ shows 0, 2, -4.9. (The distances are in meters)

Those coordinates don't make sense (assuming they are measured from the center of the model). Seems there would be a negative X value, a Y value of zero (since the tail is on the aircraft centerline). The Z value is reasonable.

Is there something I missed about the origin of the camera coordinate or the direction of the axes: X is forward, Y is out the right wingtip, and Z is perpendicular to X-Y and positive down?

Thanks.

I'm no good at this stuff. But x would be the position on the centerline right? Y would be two up correct? And z would be back -4.9?
