what is this?
why are the ground textures black?
and how do i fix this?
the textures are only black when they are loaded fully thats why they look normal in the distance

it could be one of two things. One, your drivers could be out of date, or two, the card is overheating. Either way, download the latest drivers and you should be fine

i have never gotten this before
i got this about an hour ago :S
but ill test new drivers if there is any

You really do have a lot of problems with FSX - I would just reinstall it and make sure it is done correctly.

Looks like corrupt airport scenery to me. Seeing as only the area in/around the airport is missing textures.

no i get this everywhere when the textures are ''loaded'' couse if i set the LOD radius to small then
the radius thats black gets smaller
all the blurry textures show but not the loaded ones
its hard to explain couse i suck at english

now u know why i hate microsoft....
my FSX doesnt work
my FS2004 doesnt work
my Windows Vista doesnt work
my xbox 360 doesnt work
my internet explorer doesnt work

i just installed the new driver for my crappy hd4650 graphics card
but as i guessed it didn't work

ops i didn't see that you said i should reinstall
but reinstalling is my last resort
couse i hate reinstalling it takes so long time and then i have to find all my tweaks again and all the addons.....

I Fixed it
my detail1.bmp were missing so got a new one (Backup)
as they say its always good to backup
