I have just made my first repaint for the PMDG 747-400 for FSX. In the game, the quality of the textures looks horrible and the doors are missing. What can cause this? I have tried saving it as 32 bitmap and DDS DXT3.

OK, I found out what the problem was. Apparently PMDGs alhpa-mapping needs to be completely black instead of white, in order to show no reflections in FSX. Opposite of how it is in FS2004. Now the paint looks great!
