They're photos. They are still going to look a bit brighter in the photo then they actually are. I think the game looks just right in terms of brightness.

And UTX comes a good deal close to that, not perfect but who knows what'll be possible with MS Flight?
The X Plane lighting in that shot looks like FS9 default, even worse maybe.

the title of the screenshot says "USS Nimitz Aircraft Carrier...WIP", not "Final version of X-Plane 10 clouds".
Here is a WIP of the clouds (colored to show volumetric differences).

Please judge the photos for what they are really showing, not what's in the background.
To do otherwise is unfair to the development of the sim.

Those are rainbow clouds, I'll decide when I see the actual full sim
I share my opinion, and you share yours. I don't like X-Plane; I prefer FSX in its entirety. K?

So, may I ask, why you are constantly viewing the x plane forums and posting your criticisms on something that isn't even released yet?

Hanging around a forum, criticizing it's product, admitting you don't like it.
Don't you think you would be far more productive in the FSX forums?
What do you hope to achieve by criticizing a work in progress simulator that you clearly and admittedly don't like?

Why, is there something wrong with criticizing? Should I be blinded and accept it all?
Before this turns into a war, back on topic...

Back on topic? That's fine with me. You criticized V9 clouds in a V10 aircraft carrier screenshot.
Not wanting to start a war. Just want people to FAIRLY criticize. Without a bias towards FSX.
