That would be amazing, but sadly my 8800GTS wouldn't be able to keep up to get enough points :hrmm:

Well...I'm sure if you ran the GPU client 24/7 until the last drawing you would gather enough points to have about 4 raffle tickets in the last couple drawings.  But I don't know if you're able to run the computer 24/7 or not.

I myself have entered under OCX600RR but I haven't been doing as good as I was hoping.  Added the PS3 for those extra 1K PPD  :hrmm:  Hey, it's for a good cause & this gives me a better chance at winning a GTS 450,  GTX 460, GTX 570, or Intel Core i7 980X CPU compared to the Lottery so I'm all for it!  :hrmm:

BTW - Fighter25 would benefit since he can push out around 80,000 PPD on his machine (probably more actually!) so he could end up getting 25+ raffle tickets for the prize drawings.

I wouldn't mind winning it but I haven't a clue what to do. I have a i7 950 & GTX460.

Are you kidding me? Never heard of our Folding@Home Team?!  :hrmm:  The easiest way for you to start up is to download the GPU3 client Click Here - It's the First Download on the page
Set up a user name & enter team number & start folding!  PM me if you need more instructions especially for the CPU.

I'm leaving on vacation, might just leave my computer on the entire time. :hrmm:!

Doing 11884PPD w/ the GTX460, then another 300 or so with the basic CPU one. Gotta learn to install the more advanced one!

Thanks Toby, do I have to keep my computer on 24/7 with this? If so, I won't be participating :hrmm:

Well, you could just fold up to 30,000 points to give you one raffle entry for the drawings and then quit, but if you get just the 460 to fold and leave the CPU idling, you're looking at roughly 240w 24/7.  Really not bad but I can understand if you don't want to run it 24/7.

29K PPD, not too bad. I built a new computer for my mom that has a GTX 460 1GB and an i3 @ 3.7GHz, might use that too. Guess that would add like another 23K. This is w/o doing the adv work, I might try that later.

I think I've set it up correctly

Update: Seems that it is working, now it says that amount PPD for my GPU, will it always be that or will it rise?

^^ Very nice Mr.Sim!  Yes PPD will fluctuate depending on the work unit that your hardware is working on.  Every work unit is different; some smaller, some larger.

Not too shabby at all!  You'll have a much higher chance to win at least something compared to me :hrmm:

Wait, 4600PPD on your GTX 460!? That definitely is not right...what's your PPD reporting now?  I'm on the same work unit as you and I'm getting around 12,300PPD at 925mhz/1850mhz/3600mhz clockspeeds.

Edit: Are you playing games or stressing the GPU in any way when you're also running folding@home?

It was running yesterday, do I need to let it complete to 100%? And I was doing absolutely nothing with the machine yesterday, I was surfing the internet on my netbook and left my rig to fold.

Yes you need to complete the work units to receive credit for them.

Okay, I'll have to run it again when I can keep the PC on all day. Probably won't have chance until Monday now.

EDIT: Do you know the problem why my GTX460 isn't getting as many points as yours? Do I need to let it get to 100% so I will get maximum points?

What do you mean with "do I have to let it get to 100%" ?  Each one of those work units (the 1348 pointers) only take around 2.5 hours to complete.  I don't quite know why your GTX 460 isn't folding as good as it should what are the clock speeds on the card when the program is running?  It might be stuck in 2D mode for some odd reason.

Well I mean, do I have to let it get to 100% before I actually get points? Can you add me on MSN so you can help me out?
