Once the school season starts back up, in about a week or so, I shall be operating a 24/7 flight server for VA use, but I'd gladly be willing to donate some of the free space to FSW.

As promised, I am operating a full time 24/7 server that everyone here is welcome to use.

IP: 131.123.64.228 for FS Host connections

TeamSpeak 2 server also available on the same IP if anyone wants to use it.

The server is being used for VA purposes mostly, but it's less-than-active right now since we're doing some overhaul work, so please feel free to go nuts on it   I'd be happy to also give server admin privileges if anyone wants access to change the server time and weather.

Just tried to connect to both of them; but it just keeps saying "Trying to connect."  Do I need SP2 for Multiplayer to work in FSX?

Negative. Sorry, I had some issues with my PC earlier thanks to my internet, that took me about an hour to resolve. Everything should work 100% perfect now and expect no future issues.

Works for any version of FS9 and FSX

FSX needs you to download the FS Host Connect Client, which is basically an external connector outside the game that just links your single-player mode to a multiplayer server, so ATC and AI all still works in multiplayer through the Connect Client.

If you use the FSX Multiplayer built-in feature in the game, it's similar to the FS9 multiplayer connection process, although it's like a dumbed down version since it's hosted through the game, not an external software.

Must be you that got on flying the T-45 then.

If anyone wants to have a multiplayer military flight, let me know and I would love to host one. I'll even come up with a mission briefing. Been doing it since the mid-2000s now.

If you do decide to connect, I only ask that you put "FSW" on your name tag somewhere so we can all identify you as a fellow FSW member.

What will it take to get people to have a flight together?

I've been busy lately, and I'm sure many others are, too. Perhaps we could organize a FSW Event for Spring Break? Maybe some short hops?

How about this weekend since my school closed for an unprecedented 4 days due to ice.

This weekend is kind of short notice, and not everyone is having a 6 days in a row off.

As I always suggest, I don't know how many people here are interested in military flights, but I would be glad to host a mission of some sort that we could all get in on. I'll even go to the extent of briefings and intel to give it some realism.

MP servers will be offline until March 27th.

And, yes, the servers have been up this whole time, and yes, people have been using it for those of you about to say "Does anyone even use the sever?"
