Has anyone ran into this..

I had fs global 2008 installed..

Uninstalled it.. removed the scenery entries in the settings...

Then ran the install for 2010..

At the end it loads the Pilots terrain configuration tool v 1.0.9

If you click, setup for FS Global X.. then save terrain configuration button an error pops up:

Unhandled exception has occurred.  Conversion from string "" to double is not valid.

Continue, quit..

Anyone know of a fix?

Thanks

Ah nevermind, the solution is here:  http://www.fsglobal2010.com/indexA.htm

Involves a slight fix of the terrain.cfg file in the fsx folder.

For some reason this old link doesnt work.. the gist is to make sure that [general] is the very first line in terrain.cfg in the fsx folder.. after that it will work.
