So, provided this game does come out and you do end up buying it, what's the first thing you gonna do?

I'll probably use a default commercial aircraft (medium or short range) and fly from Kuwait to Qatar. By then the New Doha International Airport will be fully functional, so hopefully it'll be a feature in the game.

MWCR (Grand Cayman) - KMIA (Miami) - For a change. About an hour flight, northbound, over Cuba. Get a good idea of how the islands are represented, as well as Miami city and the default airport, can't wait!

Sounds good. I think the only major difference I'll notice in a flight from Kuwait --> Doha is probably the new airport, cause it's situated on a man-made island to the east of Qatar's capital, so it'll look nice. I don't think there would be any landmarks but oh how much I wish they would add some default landmarks. It's probably wishful thinking but the hope can always exist until the game comes out. Aside landmarks, it'll be nice to see if they got any satellite imageries to help them get the road systems correctly, and the desert landscape, etc.

I think Cayman --> Miami sounds a lot better, though.

I'll begin in Charles de Gaulle with a Cessna aircraft, make a tour around Paris and land at the same airport again.

I'll check all of the most famous FSX/FS9 places to compare precisely the differences with FSX/9, in terms of world modelling.
That will include Princess Juliana of course, as well as Concrete Mun, Sitka, Juneau, Luklha in Nepal(just to check if default is as catastrophic as usual there), Sion in Switzerland, and eventually I'll take a glance at my home airport, Nice Cote d'Azur in France.

You're awesome! I've flown several times back and forth these two countries and although it's a 20 minute flight it's also very enjoyable, comfy and safe. No snacks for obvious reasons but it's a nice Persian Gulf hop.

Hopefully we'll see the new NDIA.

I was hoping you'd post. I like your thinking, comparing previous and newer versions together. I'd probably give Dubai a nice visit and see if any default changes were made between FSX and MS Flight. Hopefully the most noticeable difference would be the tallest tower in the world.
