Very interesting indeed. I like it, but at the same time its not the sort of thing I would do if I was a web designer. Then again, it obviously works and he is a freelancer, so each to their own I guess. I still admire the idea though  :hrmm:

Great find, thanks for sharing!

When I view that site, I feel as if I'm 100 years old and have to sit really close to the screen to read size 6 font.

The text is just way too big. I get his point, but I see it almost as being annoying rather than amusing.

Tbh I don't like the way he sells himself. There is no need to curse with everything he says. And as Dexter pointed out, the code is horrible. The sites he has posted, look like free templates. He is also way over pricing himself. £1,000 for a basic web site, come on, I have seen better web sites, done for a lot less.

Lol, Birmingham city council paid £1, 000, 000 for their website. Seriously, prices vary a LOT especially for bigger companies etc.

For a million pounds I'd expect something more aesthetic. :hrmm:

Indeed. I came across a portfolio yesterday morning that was very much like the one in the OP in terms of style. It was an alright looking portfolio, good code, but what struck me was the constant blabbering about the developer. It was all "Me, me, me!", needless to say I wasn't the only one who felt the same. If I can find the link in my history, I'll post it.

Every once in a while you find a guy with common sense about his job.

This is one of those times.  :hrmm:

Calm down, John. Anyway, here is that portfolio I was talking about yesterday. The one where it's all "Me, me, me!". Of course I should note that the developer is a woman, so therefor it's normal to get that feeling. :hrmm:

All he did was post some images and write in big font :hrmm:

Personally I think a portfolio should feature a little bit of everything you can do, so long as it's not to cluttered or overdone.
