OK, I'll try the settings.

About the calibration, the centering is fine for all axis. It's not subtle turns, it's hard turns as if I quickly move the stick. This does not happen all the time, but randomly either to the left or the right.

Also, is there any way to lower the sensitivity of my joystick in X-Plane? I feel it's way too high.

If the aircraft is turning on the ground, check your wheel brakes.  B to toggle them.  Some aircraft have a Brake annunciator telling you the brakes are on.  By default, they are always on when you load up an aircraft.

If the aircraft is turning hard in the air but then levels out, it could be gusty winds.  Check your weather and set it to CAVOK for a smooth flight.

For the Joystick, Go into Joystick & Equipment->NullZone tab
Have a play around with the Pitch Control Response, Roll Control Response and Yaw Control Response.  I don't really know how you want it so I don't have any hard and fast settings for you.  Just experiment with those and find your sweet spot.

It's happening on both the ground and in the air. It's quite annoying.

I'm going to check out the settings now. I hope I'm going to see some improvement.

It's hard to tell what you're experiencing because I don't have that problem at all.  The only issue I have with the whole sim is I get an OpenGL error sometimes when I enable HDR lighting.
Controls are working perfectly.
I'm purely guessing, but it might have something to do with your calibration.
That's the only thing I can think of.
I'm more than happy to help you out, so if you want, we can keep posting until we sort it out.
Keep in mind, I'm going to bed in about an hour or 2.

I think it might be the calibration too. I got this problem once on FSX, and restarting it fixed the problem. It has never happened again. On X-Plane, it happens all the time.

What joystick do you have?
Please don't tell me Logitech.

Checked CAVOK, increased null zones and nothing. The same problem.

I noticed the yoke inside the cockpit does not move by itself, so I guess it's not really the joystick's problem.

By the way, I have a Thrustmaster USB Joystick. Using it since 2002 without any problems.

Check your calibration in windows and make sure it's doing what its supposed to be doing.
If it is, go to the Joysticks tab again in X Plane.  Go to Null Zones and make sure the joystick is centered.  Click "center Joystick"

Right. How do I calibrate the joystick in Windows 7?

START->Control Panel->Hardware and Sound->Devices and Printers

Right click the Joystick icon and select Game Controller Settings then click the Properties button.

I have to go now, so I'll try X-Plane 10 again later.
