I'm working on taking a current freeware Airbus cockpit and releasing some alternate VC textures that are in HD.

Doing the basic textures was easy, but I want to take the cockpit to a greater level of realism by changing the typeface, color, and organization of the Fly-By-Wire computer screen systems. The .AIR file I would also like to change but I am not concerned about that now and will do it later.

Taken from the original CAB file....

1. Does doubling the resolution on one of the screens or CAB images make it larger or simply increase the quality when displayed in the VC?

2. If I wanted to move dynamic text from one part of the screen to another, what do I need to change? Is it a coding or model issue?

3. In what ways can someone add features or interfaces to these systems?

I've done Google searches so please don't post a LMGTFY link. Thanks.
