But the behaviour and policy of MS doubtful. There are not many facts to proof that Flight will be a worthy successor.

Microsoft's policy on Flight sucks, and Flight is missing so many major features that are replaced with arcade.
Microsoft will see that Flight will earn them no money at all, and then they'll not have enough money to make a new flight simulator. I chose the first option.

That's what most people said about 3rd party add ons about 15 years ago... you know, when there was only Abacus and Wilco, everyone else was freeware.
How many freeware groups are there now? Everyone has gone payware. Most users of Flight will buy DLC, if they're dumb enough to keep Abacus and Wilco in business, they're dumb enough to keep Flight in business.

Well I think it's a testament to DLC in general. Valve is apparently making enough money on hats to make the game free. My mom told me that states are now trying to impose a tax on virtual items like hats and keys.

Really? It may have been true a few years ago then. I was reading a Wiki guide that I found after I browsed Steam's TF2 forum and read something about hit boxes. They do make you more noticeable, unfortunately.

Future sims would be on Google earth, but more advanced than current form, in addition to X-plane continuing, Aerosoft finally getting into it, etc.
Microsoft did a terrible mistake that will cost them.

Exactly. Microsoft will have spent lots of money on Flight that will never be earned back.

I don't think so. I haven't seen any casual gamers bother with Flight, all I see is veterans complaining about Flight.
Anyway, I really hope they fail so that they learn a lesson.

If Flight fails then the lesson MS will learn is that there's no money in flightsim. Hence they'll drop FS, because it doesn't make a big enough profit to justify the resources required, and not produce the FS11 that so many here seem to believe MS owes them.

And if Flight succeeds, then Microsoft will keep releasing DLC at outrageous prices, and we'll never see FSXI either

Yes and I also remember that Win XP, the fusion of the 9X & NT lines, was extremely unpopular when it first came out - Win 98SE was what lots of people kept using due to the memory (min 32MB IIRC) and processor requirements of Win XP. Win XP only started gaining widespread support when SP2 came out a couple of years after release. Just goes to show how a formerly reviled product can become the must have product.
