Hi All, im hoping someone might beable to point me to software out there that will allow me to do some repaints, maybe some that might have some links on youtube too as imnot familiar with this!!

I was also going to put on a seperate thread about Airport design software, but i might aswell keep it in here and kill 2 birds with one stone!!

Would anyone have any links to download them, im assuming its freeware or am i wrong?

Thanks in advance,

Davie

If you don't have Photoshop then I think Gimp is a good, free substitute.

I haven't used Gimp in a long time though, but it's still around.

You don't need any software other than DXTbmp.

You paint the aircraft with Photoshop or whatever you use, then you take the textures and convert them in DXTbmp so they will show up in FS. That's it.

Yes agreed, Photoshop or basic paint but also DXTbmp for converting images.

Stick with photoshop and use DXTBMP to convert the textures (Extended 32bit 888-8 for FS2004 DDX DXT5 for FSX)

Also, start up with something simple. The Project Airbus painkits always work well.
