Welcome aboard!
Today you join us on a Boeing 757-200, AmeriCay Airlines, service from Miami, Florida to Los Angeles, California! Flying time will be 4 hours and 30 minutes, approximately, and gate to gate, closer to 5 hours. We invite you to sit back, relax and enjoy!
At the gate, J concourse in MIA loading up the last of the luggage.
Pushing back in to the alleyway between the H and J concourses in Miami. 2:39pm local time, you can see engine number 2 has already been started.
Pushback tug disconnected, 2 successful starts, we'll be taxiing shortly to runway 08R after just a few pre-taxi checks.
Taxiing on out to runway 08R via taxiway Papa, a glance to the north shows us the D concourse with the smaller, regional parking at the west end of the D concourse.
Airborne at 2:54pm local time, 15 minutes after we were pushed back. Powering away from Miami our beautiful 757 takes to the skies!
Climbing out to the North West, a view back over Miami.
Still climbing, approaching the west coast of Florida.
After crossing the gulf, we make landfall near New Orleans, some interesting land formations here!
Descending into the Los Angeles area, well... this is different?
A view ahead in to the LA basin, we slow down as we over fly several other aerodromes, lots of VFR traffic out having fun today.
Gear coming down with some flap action as we join final for KLAX RWY25R.
Flaps gradually rattling out, we continue to slow and commence our final landing checklist.
After a velvety smooth touchdown (-10fpm according to our ACARS software) - we roll out and vacate to the north and prepare for a lengthy taxi to our stand. Local time is 4:37pm
Taxiing to our gate we get a lovely view over the entire airport, and of course the outstanding details that the FSDT scenery boasts.
Pulling in to our gate, finally.
At the gate, engines shut down, 4:50pm local time.
Thanks very much for coming along, hope you enjoyed the flight and we shall see you again soon!

I think if I ever see the Sultan Sea drained like that I would assume the "big one" has hit LA and dirert to Vegas. Nice shots over all.

There's something about the third shot that I really like. Nice set all-round though

Awesome shots like usual. And looks like you've found another Grand Canyon.
