Hey guys!
I am new to all this and was wondering if everyone who had twitter would follow me so I can follow back and then maybe do some flying online! I've not been on Twitter that long but I have no friends on there that are into FSX. My name is @Georgiessmith

Many thanks guys! I hope you enjoy flying as much as I do!

Welcome to the world of FSX Flying.

If I may … I would like to give you the same advice a very good friend of mime gave me many years back.
He said … “You will only get out of FSX what you are willing to put in” He was talking about reading and practicing.

Before you even think about flying online with other Sim Pilots you need to learn how to fly … The right way … First!!

By the way … Twitter has nothing to do with being able to fly with other people online.

The best place for you to start is Missions … Tutorial 1 First Takeoff and work up from that point. I skipped the helicopter and a few others that I knew I wouldn’t want or use later down the road. If you don’t you will find yourself asking more questions and having more problems than flying. Everything you need to get a good base for this hobby you can find in the learning center and the missions.

The key words to remember as you go along are Read … Pratice!!!

I started flying about 6 years ago to have something to do after I had to retire and it turned into my hobby. A Deep pockets hobby!!! I have a lot of money invested in hardware and software I have today. Just a little over $10,000. It took about 4+ years to get to the point I’m at now. The first year or so I spent most of my time flying packaged missions, adding a few aircraft / scenery from time to time and trying to get good at what I was doing.
There are many good people Sim Flying that are willing to give you a hand. Some look at FSX flying as a game others as a hobby. One thing they all have in common is that most if not all will get tired of looking things up for you.
That’s why I said the key word are Read … Pratice!!!

How about a little information about your machine and the software you have.

This is my setup now. The picture is what it looks like.

Me and my dad are trying to save up and build something like that! I think yours looks amazing!
I only put my Twitter on here because I've never had a fly online. I was just wondering how I would as I've always done LAN game.

I have alot to save up for to get my perfect Simulation!

I don’t think there is such a thing as a perfect Simulation machine. By the time I get one almost done … ALMOST DONE … I’m thinking about the next one. It never hurts to think about them. Only hurts when you start to spend the money.

What type of flying are you doing now?
You didn’t say anything about the machine you are using.

First people would need to know what you have in the box now.
MOBO, CPU and GPU, GBs of Ram.

Ive only just got a new laptop, We had a desktop pc but its recently not working. Im using the HP Pavilion G series G6. I used a Hotas from Thrustmaster as a normal flight but when I'm home I use the Saitek pro flight Yoke with some buttons on another joystick. Not that good with looking at what you have! I love it! Its the sort of thing I'm Hoping to start building!

Are they aircraft you purchases or free downloads?

Pick one uninstall and reinstall. If they were free you may not have put everything in the correct liberties.

What happens if you pick one that has the wrong image? Do you get the correct aircraft or the one in the image?
