Hey guys and gals,

was just searching through jp.net and come accross Germanwings new livery, i thought i would upload the link to show you however is it just me and my personal opinion or does anyone else think the older livery was alot better. This seems to be quite simple for my liking.

I quite like it actually. I was never sure of the purple on silver in their old livery (not that it was bad). White is a bit boring, indeed, but I think the design on the tail is pretty good.

Logo makes no sense to the name of the airline IMO, in terms of both the shape and the colours.

Couldn't agree more chaps. Tail design is good but the rest felt there's no effort in the rest of the design.

Poor new choice, in my honest opinion.

Not the worst I've ever seen, but very little was wrong with the older one. I think this rebranding could have been done more interestingly. Just too bland for what it is.

It's all to do with their relationship with Lufthansa, so the scheme was never going to be amazing.

They still could have done a better job, though.

I actually quite like it. Yes, it is a eurowhite and all, but sometimes simplicity is the best way to go. Colorful liveries are good and all, but some airlines try them and then come out with a pile of puke (just have a look at the liveries of Aerosvit and it's partners as an example).

Aerosvit's isn't actually all that bad on the 738, like you said it's the partner, Donbassero, that or whatever. Easily one of the top three worst liveries ever made.
