The seats in that 787 flight deck look a little tatty. Both great looking aircraft though in my opinion!

^ Seconded. Why the fluffy seats?

I think the A350 flight deck looks better. There must be good reason for using a sidestick over a yoke, as otherwise everyone else in the industry wouldn't be doing it ;)

I think it's just Boeing tradition to use those type of seats, and it's probably cheaper for them to continue getting the material from the same supplier that they've been getting them from for years.  I don't know this for sure, but it would make sense.

The cockpit looks more childish with all the big screens :D Feels like a home built cockpit ahahah, and the nose they just copied 787. But its a beautiful bird must say, both boeing and airbus do a great job on their aircraft !

A350 cockpit looks like a space shuttle cockpit. Too much! :P

I really don't understand the complaints of the A350's cockpit having "too many computers/computer screens." I have no preference for an aircraft manufacturer, I will say that Airbus makes the most incredible flight decks. They really go to the length in defining aircraft automation.

Either way, the fight between the A350-1000, the 787-10X, and the 777X program in the next few years will be hella entertaining.

I have to agree with indy, I am both a 737 and A320 lover but the A320 cockpit is nicer. The B737 cockpits are nice, but I really do admire the design of the A320 cockpit. The A350 cockpit however doesn't really appeal to me, too similar to the A380.

I've said this before, but they should make it more like the A320/A330 cockpit.
