I personally know the Airbus Fleet Captain for AA (Mark Maestas, top-right most) and I called his office earlier today congratulating him on the very first delivery flight and entry to the AA fleet. :D

I'm still put off by the new livery.  It just bothers me because they could have done so much better!  Regardless, it's very nice to see AA acquiring the A319; the way that first picture is framed in addition with the new sharklets made me think it was a Regional Jet at first :oops:

Very cool! I've had the opportunity to capture photos of AA's new A319s at our local airport practicing pattern work. I'll post photos later.
