I personally know the Airbus Fleet Captain for AA (Mark Maestas, top-right most) and I called his office earlier today congratulating him on the very first delivery flight and entry to the AA fleet.

I'm still put off by the new livery.  It just bothers me because they could have done so much better!  Regardless, it's very nice to see AA acquiring the A319; the way that first picture is framed in addition with the new sharklets made me think it was a Regional Jet at first

Very cool! I've had the opportunity to capture photos of AA's new A319s at our local airport practicing pattern work. I'll post photos later.
