As you probably know FSX is very CPU intensive and I am not really all that sure a dual core Pentium would be enough. Is this a pre-built or are you building it yourself? Also are you planning on running any 3rd party addons?

You could possibly scrape by on all low settings, but the CPU would be a definite bottleneck. Also, be weary of the model of the Gigabyte board. I have had a few budget Gigabyte boards and had nothing but trouble with them, but obviously not everyone will have the same experience as me.

I'd recommend saving money up for a system that wouldn't result in the world's slowest FSX slideshow.

For vanila FSX: enough on medium-high settings. But as time passes, you want to add some addons, freeware and/or payware. And as they will make your PC load heavier, I suggest this minimum:

Intel i5 quad core (at the very minimum sandy bridge) 3.4 GHz (better if overclockable)
NVIDIA GTX 660 or Radeon HD 7790
4GB DDR3
HDD/SSD at least 250GB
22" Full HD Monitor
550W PSU.
