I've had FSX for several years but am just now getting into learning to fly it. I prefer the big iron. I've watched a dozen or more FSX videos on Youtube, trying to get a feel for how to do it. Some of the vids are very well done from a training standpoint. Others are start to finish flights, with no explanation of what's happening. Most of these are also well done.

I'm trying to learn the pre-flight procedures. Without knowing what the various switches do and in what order they should be switched, it's daunting to say the least.

Has anyone in the flight sim community created a check list for the various stages that could be printed. Also, I don't know how you'd do this, but is there a photo(s) of the cockpit controls and switches with identifying text and arrows?
