Please, help!

Problem: Most of my runway lights start to light up only when I get very close to the airport.

More details: In this last video, where the problem doesn't seem to occur, basically all of his runway lights are on from afar, and remaining ones turn on smoothly also from far away. On my install, remaining lights turn on when I'm basically over the airport. This, for me, is incredibly annoying.

What I've done: I come to you because I've spent many hours torturing myself on search engines and found nothing to solve this. Not a single config line. It also doesn't matter if I max out every single graphic setting. If I could only find a way to increase the draw distance of these lights my headache would be over.

I will be greatly grateful if someone manages to provide a solution.

Does this happen at all airports, even at default ones? Also, are you running FSX in DX10 mode or are you using any addons that modify light textures (such as REX)?
