I have the following specs:

3 gb ram
750 power supply
2.16 processor
gtx 280 video card

I bought 6 fips from saitek and my frame rate was very choppy...where before it was around 100fps
Needless to say the fips are very fps intensive.

If I upgrade to an intel core i7 4790K Unlocked Quad Core HT 4GH Processor LGA1150 Haswell 8MB can I expect a substantial increase in performance with the fips?

I have just ordered a cockpit panel from pilot mall that can house the fips if I choose to...currently I am just using a monitor for instruments.
