Hey guys I want to put together a cheap machie capable of running FSX smoothly for my nephew. I'd like for you guys to help me put a little something together. Give me some ideas on a processor, graphics card,  motherboard, ram, power supply etc... now, I have about 500 to spend, I'll spend a bit more if necessary as long as fsx runs without a problem. Im most likely to buy some of the items used off of ebay. Thanks in advance.

A whole system on 500 will be tight.

The system in my sig is solid and bang for buck is decent. With a good overclock on the CPU. I built this in 2013 so I bet you can pick up a i5 for dirt cheap on ebay. The won't need 16gb of RAM either, 8gb will be fine. You'll need an 1155 socket mobo for an i5 chip mine is a Gigabyte Z77X. My GPU is a GTX660, It's since this machine was built mainly for FSX the GPU is the fairly low priority.

No idea what that would add up to cost wise in US dollars.

Good luck.
