Real air simulations is developing a Spitfire XIV. The Spitfire XIV is scheduled for release this October. The spitfire has cutting edge flight dynmics which let you fly the world war 2 fighter plane on a knife edge while you enjoy the roar of the Rolls-Royce 2035hp Griffin engine!. It also has a top speed of 450MPH, and a pure 3d-max model with multiple athentic liveries. Also included with the spitfire is RAF west malling, a historical fighter airfield.
Visit the Real Air Simulations site for more information and multiple screenshots.

I've been flying the Mk IX for a while now in IL-2; Aces and love it. Although it's nice to have these warbirds in FS2004 you really can't appreciate their performance unless you can take them into battle and shoot something
just my opinion
