Go to the update page and print out the page, 12 pages, mostly bridges!!
Sit down and read it!!

Ranting and bad language won't fix your problem, but reading the instructions
might!!

Ours is working fine with the new  FSUIPC and the NO-CD patch!!

Which version of the NO-CD hack are you using?

Install or not install - this is here the question... (Shakespeare)  :D

I'm sure when you rtfm (read the fu.... manual) it will work properly...

I think i try it - i have a secure backup of my whole HD  :o  - a job for sunday afternoon.

Scott, do you maybe need a a new FS9.exe?

http://www.microsoft...9.1_english.asp

Have a read, there are some known issues with the update.

Anyways, my installation went ok :D Nice to see some big bridges :o

I am not going to install it, right now i have no problems and my frame rates kick butt!!!  I have them locked at 25 and they stay there no matter what.  I really don't care about the extra bridges because i have USA Roads and they would not line up with my roads anyway.  I am happy with my sim the way it is!! :D Steveo

Thanks for that, Kimber (and the others).  If it's working okay with the no-cd hack, then I shouldn't get any problems running it out of VirtualCD either.

Got it downloaded, will install later Saturday.

Hmm typical microsoft and their bugs. Was this even Beta tested before official release?

Surprising they cant make a decent patch for their own game where as you see other patches for fs made by people other than microsoft work pretty much perfectly.  :D

For me i think ill save my update patch for downloading at the end of the month. i may run out of usage if i do it now. But i hope it doesnt happen to me and I hope it fixes soon to those who are experiencing difficulties.

Mango guy;

Why not just zip your flightsim and install the patch and see what
it does??

It will compress to about 1/3!!

Kimber girl ;  :D

No need for this headache - this 'upgrade' will not affect my sim so much that i will notice it.

I don't have to zip FS9 - i work with Acronis True Image backups on a secure zone (on two HD's)...  :o

I just don't touch it !  :o
