And i don't like the A300 super transporter either, its just ugly! But it's a good transporter though!

Don't forget the lack of proper ATC, ILS, even the lack of paved runways in rural Russia!  Add to that, adverse weather conditions.  The Tu-154 has TRIPLE bogey main gears because of the crap they get flown to.

Ugly planes...hmm.

A310 was never my cup of tea.

Aeroflot just isn't a Safe airline.

Umm, are you sure about that? Boeing is a lot safer than Russian jets. 777 for example. 10 years in service and not even one fatal crash.

take a look at the an225 for example.. largest plane in the world 1984/1988

would you trust it? alot of companies sure do.

oh and while your ######**g about safety.. its the russians getting your @$$ to the ISS and back.

as much as I'd like to agree with him. the point is MAINTAINENCE...

A brand new plane can crash and have tons of problems in it's early days. Look at the A320(AF) that crashed at the airshow.

And look at the 777. it hasn't.

Maintainence is key.. I just flew a 1986 C-172N yesterday. thing was old but flew wonderfully.. HOW? well taken care of :-)

thats because none of the cut price airlines can afford em and United have been lucky.  I have flown Aeroflot due to a severe shortage of cash and trust me the only thing that I did have faith in was the airplane.
