FlightSimWorld.com is a great caring community of members from all around the world (Canada, USA, Australia, England, Thailand, and Netherlands to name a few)! You may remember us as FS2004.com - we have taken a new name to better represent the fact that we are a non-partisan Flight Simulation fan site.
GIVE US TIME
Yes, we do have members from all around the world, but even with that, you need to give us time when replying. Many topics will recieve many views, but the person viewing may not know the answer and won't reply or they may be looking for the answer!
Multiple Image Uploader
The default forum file attachment feature causes our beautiful screenshots to get squished and distorted as it resizes them for the forum view! By using the multiple image uploader link they do not get squished! Simply click on the "Multiple Image Uploader" link located below your post when replying and follow the on screen instructions.
Screenshot Contests
Every member at FlightSimWorld.com loves the screenshot contests. Each month a handful of submitted screenshots are selected and members vote for the winner.
If you are interested in submitting to the SS contest then just follow the procedure located at the bottom of this page.
Each month there are several contests including an edited screenshot contest, an aviation photo contest, and occasionally other contests.

Signatures
Signatures are allowed on the forum as long as they are not sexually explicit/violent/hateful. If warned about them please remove. A second warning may/will result in an overview of your account at Flightsimworld.com.
Maximum signature size of 500 Pixels wide by 150 Pixels height is for the ENTIRE signature (including text and images). Max size for an image inside a signature is 500x120. Please keep the size of your signature graphics under 50 kilobytes.
Avatars
If you would like to deploy an avatar (thumbnail picture) under your username please take the following steps.
1. Click the My Controls link at the top right hand of your screen.
2. Under Personal Profile at the left click Edit Avatar Settings.
3. Use the drop down menu to select a category and click go to enter our pre-made avatars section. If you have your own avatar made make sure it's 100 Pixels by 100 Pixels in size and under 20 KB.
4. After you're done click update avatar.
5. If for some reason you don't see anything, or if you see your old previous avatar click the Ctrl + F5 keys on your keyboard. This will cause your browser to do a hard-refresh. Forcing the new avatar into your browser cache.
