Hi guys.
Does anyone know if it will be possible in Fs2004 to see over which city you're flying? I mean in FS2002 you could see the names of the airports  on the Map. It would be great if you could check which city you're over right now.

I think it's going to be just like it is in FS2002...  There is going to be a new GPS system so we're gonna have to wait and see what happens with that. :o  <--- that's for you Peter

I remember seeing an addon that showed the names of buildings overlayed over the buildings in one particular city. Perhaps someone will make a similar addon to show city names overlayed on top of those cities.

Right you are.

I can't remember the name of it, though. I think it was payware, though.

If you want to see which city you are flying over, you can hit 'alt' and select 'World', then go down to Map view, click on the airports, and it will say the name of the airport. That can help, but its a pain sumtimes

There is no option for this, however, the new GPS is awsome!  It displays just like an actual aviation GPS, with outer markers, airport call letters, etc.

No there are no city names on the map or in the GPS.  :o

Geus the only way you can find out the name of the city below you is to kick out a passenger and let him/her ask it.  :P  B)  ;)
