I think that a Editing tutorial would be a good idea. I have seen the editied screenshots and some of them i cant tell whether they are real or not! :o
Just a quick step by step tutorial on how to get your pictures into the editing competitions would be very useful to me and alot of other people.

Much appreciated :P  :D

Too much to fit into a single tutorial. Every edit is different depending on the effect you want, the colors in the photo, the type of plane, and the editing program you use.

That would be a very long tutorial, maybe someone will do it though.

If you are new to editing i wouldn't recomend starting with that hard of an edit.

What image editing program do you have?

That KLM shot isn't realistic looking, not to me. Why would the sky and everything be grey and only color in the aircraft?

The sun is shining through the clouds lighting up the airplane.

Scott, your best bet would be to find an image editing program and learn it yourself.  All the good screenshot editors around here took their time in playing around with the programs.

there is a website with quite afew Photoshop tutorials. It is called
www.worth1000.com (ie. a picture is worth 1000 words). The site is also a collection of photoshop competition galleries.

I think some tutorials there are also for paintshop pro.
