(sorry for my english)
Hi i am a programmer i think that multiplayer of FS2004 have a lot of limitation, i have programmed a new Multiplayer system for FS2004, this system have not lag, all animation are fluid and a smoke system view has been implemented

if you don' t believe you can see here:

http://paf.virtuelle...e.fr/videos.htm

(second and third video) in the second aircraft are a little over the ground bacause scenery reasons

and

http://img74.exs.cx/...-oct-26-002.jpg

and

http://www.gruppopan.../video/PANV.wmv

The program work on FS2004 and you can  download on

http://www.ibirdsoft.altervista.org

(DOWNLOAD 1.05.9)

Manual are only on Italian language but i can help to understand how use this program if interested

Hey is this a client to use on Vatsim or another Network?

This seems awesome especially for the Virtual Military Forces doing formation stuff!

So is this for Networks or just peer to peer connections?

Looks great!!

No, it is not a Network Client BUT,
There is the possibility to use in parallel with other network as IVAP or VATSIM, because IBNet don' t use FS2004 Multiplayer.dll you can use at the same time with other network software, the only problem is that an user connected on IBNet and IVAO or VATSIM is draw two time by IBNet and  FSInn or IVAP, but you can insert a fake aircraft so the second aircraft is not drawn two time, but only one. So you can fly on IVAO use ATC and use IBnet for a number of user to see at high quality for formation or other (for VATSIM i don' t know how the system to recognize aircraft, but i can see if can work).

IBNet use a peer to peer system Server can host about 2000-3000 User with an ADSL, with an aircraft density for every user connected of 20-25 aircraft / 10 miles for an ADSL

Hey,
This sounds promising! and with 2000 to 3000 users, could this be made into a good network?

Maybe you could contact Vatsim and get the word out!
I hope this works!!

My Multiplayer have the number of a big network, BUT don' t have ATC Client to monitor traffic, don' t have weather control, don' t have a system of join by password and user registred, don' t have a system to send plan, my system is based on the high quality of flight on FS2004, no lag, fluid Multiplayer, animation, and graphic effects, so my system can only used in parallel with other program do what IBnet don' t

You can use IBNet at the same time with FSInn and VATSIM, but you can't use IBnet to connect to Vatsim

Alright, I've got it installed now and I applied the aircraft from the client manager.
What do I do now?
What is the IBMega Server and the IBServer?

Thanks

Open an IB-Mega-Server ignore IB-Serv (for now)

Open FS2004 select an aircraft, then Instrument Panel -> View -> IBNetPlayer

It is like an FMC go on connect insert Call-Sign and IP then press connect

PS (If you have a Server don' t use 127.0.0.1 (local machine) to connect on mega Server use always your internet external IP, if you use router do a virtual Server (port fowarding) on 2003 UDP 2004 UDP 2006 TCP ),  a router can only Host or Fly, a normal modem can Host and fly

Ok, I got the IBNEt option in the instrument panel now.

Now I am using a server with an IP in this format... jc.ezo.com
I am having problems getting onto that server using IBnet.

Does IBNet only accept number IP's?

Thanks

Hi,

I downlooaded this and started the Client Manager, clicked Apply All, and it takes a long time and I think the program crashes. Would this have anything to do with FSInn (by the way is there an uninstaller for FSInn? Even for the aircraft.cfgs?)?

The client manager crash or Do you think the program crash?

Client manager can work for some minutes to do operation, the operation is not linked to FSInn

I'm not sure if it crashed or not, but it just sit there with symtoms of crashing.
